News from Pêches et Poivre

Hello, it’s been a while since we gave any news from the shop!  I guess we were in the deep freeze of the COVID-19 pandemic and the slow pace of winter. We have been busy trying to find ways to keep business going while keeping our customers, our community, and ourselves, as safe as possible.  Although the stay at home order has now been lifted in our region, we need to stay vigilant, perhaps extra vigilant, to prevent the spread of this virus so that we all remain healthy and so that we don’t have to experience another lockdown.

Shopping Update – Covid-19

WE ARE BACK! After taking a break we are all set to re-open.  However, like last year, it won’t be business quite as usual.  In light of the “Stay at Home” order from the Ontario government and helping to minimise traffic, we have modified our hours to Thursday to Saturday, 11 to 4.

We are also offering curbside pickup and free delivery within Almonte.  If you want to visit and shop in person, we have limited the number of clients to two and, rest assured, we are respecting, and increasing all the safety measures as prescribed by the health department.

We are looking forward to celebrating the end of this pandemic with you.  In the meantime, be safe.

Happy New Year

2020 has been, to say the least, challenging for many.  It showed us how resilient and resourceful we are.  It also showed us what a great community Almonte is and what wonderful support we received from all of our customers!  Thank you!

Looking forward to 2021, Sandra, Susan and Lise wish you fun, happiness and may 2021 give you lots of opportunities to celebrate!

Bye bye 2020, Welcome 2021.
