Shopping in Almonte

The charming town of Almonte, just west of Ottawa, is a popular shopping destination and we have adapted well to serving customers during the Covid crisis. The eclectic variety of businesses in downtown Almonte makes it easy to find quality items for yourself and for gifts.

At Pêches & Poivre we make shopping safe and easy, with online order forms for many of our most popular items, curbside pickup and local delivery options, and an exceptional selection of food and kitchen items.

If you’re looking for something in particular and aren’t sure if we have it, please feel free to contact us and we’ll help.

Gift Central

We can help make this season a breeze with gourmet food Gift Baskets, delightful goody bags, gifts of artisan cheese (including our popular Cheese Club!), and gift certificates.

We also stock a lovely selection of cards, are ready to wrap any item beautifully, and have lots of small treats to tuck into any gift package.

Check out our Gift Central page for more.

Light Up the Night 2020

Almonte’s Light Up the Night event is always a huge attraction on Mill Street in early December. This year’s event is scheduled for Fri, December 4th, though we’ll all need to keep an eye on current COVID-19 restrictions.

Peches & Poivre is usually open until 7pm for late shopping on Thursdays and Fridays in December, starting December 4th.
