We are thrilled to announce that we just received more than 30 kilograms of cheese from Shep Ysselstein, the young, award-winning cheesemaker from Woodstock, Ontario. This year Shep has a real treat for us.
Shep has patiently aged (or is it, we have patiently waited?) his ‘Handeck’ cheese for 3 years now and just released it for the very first time this past Saturday Dec 1.
So, alongside the fantastic award-winning 5 Brothers (8 month) and 18 month Handeck, we can now offer you 5 Brothers Reserve (18 months) and Handeck Reserve (3 years).
We also brought in some of your other favourites such as 5 Brothers Smoked, Beau’s beer-washed, and Tipsy, a cabernet merlot soaked semi-firm cheese that is easy to love.
More cheeses are coming next week, just in time for the season’s festivities! Come and have a taste.
